Dell UltraSharp U2725QE
The most complete 27-inch office monitor available, as long as you don't expect it to double as a gaming screen.

Our verdict
Dell's 2025 replacement for the U2723QE keeps the 27-inch 4K IPS Black formula and fixes most of what held its predecessor back. Refresh rate doubles to 120Hz, native contrast rises to 3000:1, and the old USB-C hub becomes a Thunderbolt 4 hub with 140W charging, 2.5GbE Ethernet and KVM. Reviewers rate its SDR image and factory calibration among the best of any LCD office monitor. Motion is still soft for fast games and its local dimming does little for HDR.
What's good
- Thunderbolt 4 hub with 140W charging and 2.5GbE
- 120Hz makes desktop work noticeably smoother
- High contrast for an IPS panel
- Accurate factory calibration
What's not
- Slow pixel response blurs fast games
- Local dimming is ineffective for HDR
- No built-in speakers or webcam
- Dell's own list price has risen to $799.99
