TCL QM6K 50"
A good small-room budget TV, though the 55-inch costs barely more.

Our verdict
The 50-inch QM6K offers the same 2025 Mini LED platform as the larger sizes in a size that fits bedrooms and smaller living rooms. Reviews of the line, led by RTINGS' budget pick, praise its contrast and Dolby Vision IQ support for the money, while noting modest HDR brightness, average glare control and weak speakers. P.C. Richard lists four HDMI 2.1 inputs and a 120Hz native panel at this size. It costs only about $50 less than the 55-inch, which reduces its value.

What's not
- HDR is only moderately bright (about 560-700 nits measured)

- Higher input lag than rivals (13.1ms per Tom's Guide)
- Weak built-in sound
