Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M4)
A sensible way to get a 13-inch iPad without Pro pricing, provided you can live with an LCD that lacks ProMotion.

Our verdict
The 13-inch iPad Air offers the same M4 chip, 12GB of memory and Wi-Fi 7 as the 11-inch model with a larger, slightly brighter 600-nit screen. It is the cheapest way to get a 13-inch iPad, costing well under the 13-inch iPad Pro at retail. The display is still an LCD without ProMotion, and at 616g it is heavier than the 13-inch Pro. Apple's list price rose to $949 in June 2026, so retailer discounts matter.
