Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M5)
The best tablet hardware you can buy, though most owners of an M4 iPad Pro, and most iPad Air buyers, have little reason to pay for it.

Our verdict
The 11-inch iPad Pro pairs Apple's M5 chip with the same Tandem OLED panel used on the M4 model, which reviewers continue to rate among the best displays on any tablet, reaching around 1,600 nits with HDR content. Reviewers describe it as the most powerful tablet available but a modest step up from the M4 generation. Faster charging is new, with roughly 50 percent in about 30 minutes on a 40W adapter. The main drawbacks are price, which rose to $1,199 at Apple in June 2026, and the fact that the cheaper iPad Air covers most people's needs.
