The cheapest way into a current iPhone, though the 2026 price rise brings it close to better-equipped Android rivals.

The iPhone 17e is Apple's entry-level model, with the same A19 chip as the iPhone 17, 256GB of base storage and MagSafe support that the 16e lacked. It launched at $599 in March 2026, and Apple raised the price to $699 in September.
