ASUS ProArt Display PA279CRV
Wide, accurate color and generous USB-C charging make it an affordable creative tool, at the cost of contrast and smoothness.

Our verdict
ASUS's ProArt PA279CRV is a 27-inch 4K panel aimed at photo and design work rather than gaming. It covers nearly all of the Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 gamuts and reviewers measured accurate color straight out of the box. A 96W USB-C port, DisplayPort daisy chaining and a fully adjustable stand round out a strong feature list for the price. Contrast, HDR and motion are all mediocre, and the refresh rate is capped at 60Hz.
