Puro Sound Labs BT2200-Plus
The best-built and best-sounding kids' headphone here, though its limiter is not as strict as cheaper rivals.

Our verdict
Puro's BT2200-Plus is a premium kids' headphone with aluminum cups and headband, vegan leather cushions, and a limiter that caps volume at 85 dB. Tech Advisor found its audio quality noticeably better than most kids' models, even over Bluetooth, and its swappable on-ear and over-ear cushions help block background noise on planes. Battery life is rated at 20 hours. It is expensive for a kids' headphone and does not fold, and one independent test by Headphonesaddict measured output above the 85 dB target, so it is better suited to older children.
