Sony WH-CH730N
Much of Sony's flagship experience for well under half the price, though its higher list price makes it best bought on sale.

Our verdict
Sony's mid-range CH730N delivers much of the flagship experience for well under half the price, with competent noise cancellation and multipoint pairing. Its 50-hour ANC battery is excellent, and the new folding design makes it far easier to pack than the CH720N it replaces. The plastic construction feels its price, and there is no LDAC for higher-bitrate Bluetooth. Its list price is higher than its predecessor's, so it is best bought on sale.
