Our verdict
The X11L is TCL's 2026 flagship and its first SQD Mini LED TV, sold in 75, 85 and 98 inches. Tom's Guide measured about 2,680 nits in HDR on the 85-inch, level with Sony's Bravia 9, and 91.8% Rec. 2020 color coverage, which it says only the best OLEDs otherwise reach; it also found minimal blooming and better-than-usual built-in sound. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports at 4K 144Hz and an ATSC 3.0 tuner, with 11.7ms input lag measured. The drawbacks are price, size and motion: it starts at 75 inches, the 85-inch lists at $7,999.99, and Tom's Guide found motion handling not class-leading.
