Onkyo GX-30ARC
A small, inexpensive pair that connects to almost anything and sounds best fed from a wired source.

Our verdict
Onkyo's Creator Series GX-30ARC are compact powered speakers with an unusually wide set of inputs for the price, including HDMI ARC, USB-C, optical and a moving-magnet phono stage. What Hi-Fi found them clear, well organised and engaging, with a phono stage that is better than expected at this level. Over Bluetooth they sound more reserved, and they need a decent wired source to show their best. Some listeners will want more bass, though a subwoofer output is provided.
