Best for: Students and first-time PC gamers on a limited budget

The LOQ 15 is Lenovo's entry gaming line, and this configuration pairs an RTX 5060 with an older but still capable Core i7-13650HX. Notebookcheck's testing of the closely related RTX 5060 LOQ 15 found stable CPU and GPU performance, more than 90 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p high, and an accurate display. The compromises are typical of the price: the 16GB of memory runs in single-channel mode, the fans are loud under load and battery life is short. Spare memory and M.2 slots make upgrades easy, which few thinner laptops allow.

What's good

  • RTX 5060 handles 1080p gaming at high settings
  • Accurate 144Hz display with G-Sync
  • Spare RAM and SSD slots for upgrades
  • One of the cheaper RTX 5060 laptops

What's not

  • Memory ships in single-channel mode
  • Loud fans under gaming load
  • Short battery life
  • Plastic build and only 512GB of storage
